The Lantern - Sheffield’s oldest theatre - has an 84 seat capacity with a deep proscenium arch space. The layout allows for an immediate connection with the audience, split across the auditorium and balcony.

We've run the full gamut of events, including plays, stand up, gigs, film screenings, lectures, photoshoots, and private parties. We can also open the space to corporate conferences and workshops. The theatre was even used as a location for a TV Commercial starring Paul Daniels and the lovely Debbie McGee.

We have a full lighting and sound set-up together with projection capabilities, a screen for films and p/a for bands. Optional technical staff can be made available and the space can be customised to suit the occasion.
