The Lantern Theatre has been used as a location to host a huge range of productions, not just the Dilys Guite Players!

Over the years it has played host to music concerts, professional theatre productions, live bands, charity events, company team building events, acting classes, as a film location and even as a sound recording area for a local film.

The theatre has electronic lighting and sound boards, complete with CD and DAT facilities as well as 4 speakers (two front and two rear).

A fully licensed bar with tea and coffee making facilities are available for the duration of an event. There is a selection of light snacks and sweets available from the bar.

If required we can arrange catering facilities to provide more substantial meals or buffets.

There is also a dressing room and a green room to the rear of the theatre. Perfect for relaxing before it's your turn before the lights!

The theatre also has a range of costumes for hire from a rather large collection situated underneath the dressing room to the rear.
